Impact Wrench

The driver bits are separated according to the difference in dimension. There are two types of bits, X type and Y type. (This is NPK’s classification method.) If you purchased a Y type impact driver and would like to use it with an X type driver bit, it is possible to do so. However, this will result in play of the bit and may cause damage. We do not recommend this. Please purchase according to the size and type of the bit that’s intended to be used.

In the case of standard-sized bolts, if the opposite side is 24 mm bolt, the metric thread diameter would be M16. The appropriate model for One-Hammer Impact Wrench is the NW-1600HA; and for Two-Hammer Impact Wrench is the NW-14H. Please refer to our website or catalog for the appropriate hexagonal bolt thread. With the Pulsus Wrench (oil pulse wrench), the rotation of the air motor causes the generation of pressure in the oil unit, which then transmits the force to the anvil. However, with the impact wrench, the rotation of the air motor causes the hitting of the metal part, called the “hammer,” which then transmits the force to the anvil.

The torque value of the impact wrench is not listed in our catalog. Please contact our air tool department.

The NW-3500GA (6P) long anvil type is suitable for vehicles over 4 ton. However, we recommend the NW-4300GA (6P) for vehicles over 10 ton.

It is the square drive size of the socket insertion. At NPK, this is the tip dimension of the anvil.

These indicate that the product is a long anvil type model. Differentiating from the standard anvil length, “2” indicates that this anvil is 2 inch (50 mm) long, “4” indicating 4 inch and so on. The alphabet indicates the type used for the socket, “R” meaning ring type, “P” meaning pin hole type. Click here for more details.

It is the maximum shaft diameter of the bolt that can be tightened at the air pressure of 0.6 MPa. Standard bolt has a strength classification of 10.8 or lower. High tension bolt has a strength classification of 10.9 or higher.

NAW-1600HA (angle impact wrench) was designed as an angle type. Thus the direction of the socket insertion is fixed. NW-1600HA-AT (attachment type impact wrench) is a standard pistol type impact wrench that can be changed to an angle type by attaching an AT-40 (attachment) option. The direction of the socket insertion can be used in 4 different directions. *NW-800 (impact wrench) can also be changed to the angle type by attaching AT-30 (attachment). AT-30 attachment is sold separately.

Grinder

Generally, air tools will see reduced lifespan when operated at an air pressure greater than 0.6 MPa. However, the grinder’s maximum rotation speed may exceed the specification of the grindstone, resulting in damage and possible injury. For this reason, our grinder incorporates a “governor” to limit the rotational speed to a specified level even when air pressure exceeds 0.6 MPa.

These two models serve different purposes. The NAG-400 is a high power grinder, weighing 1.6 kg with a power output of 800w. This is one of the highest power output in the industry. The NAG-400 can continue operating even under a 13kg load, making it suitable for the most demanding jobs. The NGS-100 is unique; it utilizes an industry first spindle lock and flange design that enables workers to replace grinding wheels in 1/4 of the conventional time. The NGS-100 weighs only 1kg with a power output of 700w, making it usable for anything from light to heavy grinding.

If you would like to use a grindstone with a 3mm shaft on a 6mm chuck, you can use a conversion bushing (part number 15000720).

The RG-38C is a lighter duty, easy to use die grinder. The RG-382 is for heavy duty use. The RG-38C has an ergonomic resin body which reduces fatigue during long hours of work. In addition, the centering accuracy is much better than conventional die grinders, making jobs easier. The RG-382 has increased shaft rigidity and a stronger wheel attachment, making it suitable for heavy duty jobs. The RG-382 is well suited for use on carbide bars.

The peripheral speed is the speed at which one point on the outer circumference advances in one second (in m/s). The rotation speed is the number of rotations of one point on the outer circumference per minute (in min-1). In general, the maximum peripheral speed is indicated by the grindstone. The rotation speed is determined by the grinder. If the grindstone rotates at a speed higher than the maximum peripheral speed, it may become damaged.

 

The relationship between peripheral speed and rotation speed is as follows:

 

Rotation speed (min-1) = Grindstone Peripheral Speed (m/s) * 60 / Grindstone Diameter (mm) + 3.14 x1000

 

Please ensure that the rotation speed of the grinder does not result in a peripheral speed greater than the specification of the grindstone.

Hammer & Breaker

The shape of the shank that connects the main body to the chisel is different. For the rounded (R) type, the chisel insertion hole is round. As for the hexagonal (H) type, the insertion hole is hexagonal which keeps the chisel fixed in place. Please choose the product according to the task requirement.

Only the sizes listed in the catalogue are in stock. If the desired length is not available, it will be handled as a special order and can be ordered in batch of 10 units. The delivery time is approximately 1 month.

Air Hoist

NPK does not sell air hoist with a trolley.

Every class have a standard lifting height of 3 meters. The chain can be extended up to 20 meters by 1 meter increment. It cannot be extended beyond this length because the exhaust section may freeze. The pendant control model can be extended up to 5 meters.

Other Product

Our air tools are suitable for outdoor use, in places with no risk of electric shock. However, we do not sell products suitable for underwater application.

We sell two types of saw blades, 32 and 24. Please order in stack of 10 units.

Yes, it can be used with water. However, if you are using the dust bag, the water will leak out of the fabric. Please use a bellow hose instead of a dust bag (designed so that it can be installed easily). After this, put the end of the hose in a pail can. When using, air will also come out with the water so please cover the can while leaving space for an air vent. There is no effect on the body of the machine. Can work up to 1.8m deep at 0.6 MPa.

Some parts may be sold in complete units (CP). Products sold as CP are those that are difficult for customers to install individually or that the part are consumed at the same time and require complete replacement. In addition, top plate WBR, handle WB, etc. are not shipped as a single item.

Accessories

Each is used according to the level of vibration of the air tool. If an air plug is used on an air tool with a large amount of vibration, the tool will wear out prematurely, therefore the hose nipple is used instead. Tools with large amounts of vibration include chippers, flux hammers, and impact wrenches. We also supply a vibration resistant short hose which can be use on air tools with high vibration. Air tools must be lubricated before and after use to prevent rust. We supply pneumatic oil (part number #28699105) in four liter cans. ISO standardized turbine oil #32 can also be used.

The handle refers to the standard handle CP and lever. If you would like an auxiliary handle, please place an order using the term “holder”.

Yes. All amounts are in unit prices. For example, in the case of the NW-1600HA, [Part number 15205300, Vane, Quantity 6, \300] means that there are 6 vanes used in the NW-1600HA, however, the price is \300 each, or \1800 for a full set of 6. Please specify the quantity when ordering.

These fractional measurements are in inches. 1 inch equals 25.4 millimeters. 1/4 is equal to 6.35mm, and 3/8 is equal to 9.525mm.
